Fun Online RPG

The folks at CCP are holding their annual FanFest for their space based MMO EVE Online right now in Iceland and Eurogamer reports that the team has shown footage during the event of what looks like a first person shooter title that might be set in the EVE Online universe.

According to the article the footage showed a “Halo-like shooter on a daylit, Earth-like planet surface” that shared a similar art design with EVE Online. Developers have also hinted that they are looking into developing console games so perhaps an EVE-centric shooter would be a good entry point. CCP is known to be developing another new MMO, World of Darkness, but there’s no work yet on that game’s development.
